Descrizione Progetto

CASA E5 is an exploration of how a compact footprint can be transformed into an intelligent, light-filled, and highly livable home—one where spatial quality is perceived as greater than its actual dimensions. The L-shaped layout is embraced as a design opportunity rather than a constraint, allowing the clear and natural separation of public and private zones without generating wasted corridors or residual spaces. The entrance is positioned at a pivotal central point, functioning as a spatial hinge that connects the two main realms of the house while establishing a logical, fluid circulation flow.

Given the presence of full-height glazed doors with direct access to the surrounding private garden, the living area is conceived as the heart of the home. Natural light penetrates deep into the plan, reinforcing the visual continuity between interior and exterior. The kitchen is organized as an open-space element integrated within the living area to enhance spatial perception, encourage social interaction, and allow daylight to extend throughout the public zone. In the left corner of the plan, a dedicated pantry has been carefully positioned to provide organized storage, conceal appliances, and maintain visual order within the living space. This strategic addition ensures that the public area remains clean, cohesive, and serene at all times.

The private wing is deliberately placed along the opposite arm of the layout to maximize separation from the living area. The master bedroom is proportioned to meet comfort standards and includes an en-suite bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower, WC, bidet, and washbasin, creating a fully independent and intimate retreat. A second bathroom is positioned to conveniently serve guests without intruding into the private domain. The secondary bedroom is conceived as a flexible space that can function as a study, studio, or storage room, with the capacity to adapt to future needs.

To optimize functionality within the limited square footage, a built-in laundry area has been integrated discreetly between the two bedrooms. This placement allows easy and direct access from both the sleeping quarters and the bathrooms, while remaining concealed from the public view. The result is a service core that shortens daily circulation paths and enhances overall efficiency.

Throughout the project, the design approach focuses on minimizing unnecessary partitions, eliminating unused areas, and incorporating full-height storage solutions to maximize every square meter. CASA E5 ultimately becomes a compact yet generous home—one shaped by light, connected to its garden, clearly structured in its privacy hierarchy, and designed with everyday quality of life at its core.
