The main instance expressed by the clients, the realization of the most open space possible, which is implemented by the demolition of the kitchen space and the actual annexation of the veranda to the current stay.
In particular, the new kitchen is accommodated within the storage room, whose dimensions are, however, rose slightly and the veranda, condoned and therefore volumes in effect, was annexed by the removal of the current window, now useless, in favor of two great openings that put in communication with the new living. These openings are designed also for structural reasons: it is not possible to realize a large one as it is a perimeter wall on which very probably a beam. Therefore, two openings surmounted by two wooden vaults that leave a solid wall at the center of which to base the living and on which to imagine a hanging television. On this occasion, this wall can be thought full brick to be left to view or finished with a coating of the same kind so as to bind with the "hot" image of a contrast timber with the rest of the house instead rather modern, especially in the furnishings and in luminaires.
The new kitchen, rather small in size, it is closed by a double sliding glass door with wooden posts to allow shelter from view from the living area that sees three zones: the dining room, near the kitchen, the living room with seating on three sides and the television center and finally the study, or reading, in the veranda. Veranda which should be renewed in closures with suitable windows and sun screen with wooden Venetian blinds.
The bathroom, though reformatted, however, remains where it is, but, for convenience, reduces the windows to one, namely that affacciante on the outside and not on the porch, now an integral part of the stay. This is equipped with a wooden top for washbasin, bidet and vase plus a masonry shower that follows the shape of a trapezoid of the local newspaper.
Also the room stays where it is but it is enriched with a closed walk-in closet also with a double sliding glass door but ended up mirror to reflect the window and give an impression of greater brightness and depth of space. To govern any scheme the entrance, furnished with a mobile lower use "empty pockets" and a container custom cabinet in place of the closet in which also house the washing machine.
La principale istanza espressa dalla Committenza, la realizzazione del maggior spazio aperto possibile, viene attuata mediante la demolizione dell'attuale vano cucina e della vera e propria annessione della veranda all'attuale soggiorno.

In particolare la nuova cucina trova spazio nell'attuale ripostiglio, le cui dimensioni però vengono leggermente aumentate mentre la veranda, condonata e dunque volumetria a tutti gli effetti, viene annessa mediante la rimozione dell'attuale serramento, ormai inutile, a favore di due grandi aperture che la mettono in comunicazione con il nuovo living. Tali aperture sono pensate anche per ragioni strutturali: non è possibile realizzarne una sola grande poichè si tratta di un muro perimetrale su cui poggia molto probabilmente una trave. Dunque, due aperture sormontate da due voltini in legno che lasciano un muro pieno al centro su cui imperniare il living e sul quale immaginare una televisione appesa. Con l'occasione, questo muro può essere pensato in mattoni pieni da lasciare a vista oppure finito con un rivestimento dello stesso genere così da legare con l'immagine " calda" del legno a contrasto con il resto della casa invece piuttosto moderno, soprattutto negli arredi e negli apparecchi di illuminazione.
La nuova cucina, di dimensioni piuttosto contenute, è chiusa da una doppia vetrata scorrevole con montanti in legno per consentire un riparo alla vista dal living che vede tre zone: il pranzo, vicino alla cucina, il soggiorno con sedute su tre lati e televisione al centro e infine lo studio, o lettura, nell'attuale veranda. Veranda che dovrebbe essere rinnovata nelle chiusure con serramenti adeguati e schermata dal sole con tende veneziane in legno.
Il bagno, sebbene rivisto nella forma, rimane invece dove si trova ma, per convenienza, riduce le finestre ad una sola, quella cioè affacciante sull'esterno e non sulla veranda, ormai parte integrante del soggiorno. Questo è attrezzato con un top in legno per lavabo, bidet e vaso oltre ad una doccia in muratura che asseconda la forma a trapezio della testata del locale.
Anche la camera rimane dove si trova ma viene arricchita di una cabina armadio chiusa anch'essa da una doppia vetrata scorrevole ma finita a specchio per riflettere la finestra e dare un'impressione di maggiore luminosità e profondità dello spazio. A governare tutto lo schema l'ingresso, arredato con un mobile basso a uso "svuotatasche" e un armadio contenitore su misura in sostituzione del ripostiglio nel quale alloggiare anche la lavatrice.
