Il progetto di ristrutturazione mira ad ampliare la percezione dello spazio, soprattutto nella zona giorno, unificando la zona dell’ingresso con la cucina, il soggiorno ed il ripostiglio e pensando perciò ad un open space dove la penisola della cucina diviene elemento centrale. Collocando il bancone bar della penisola verso l’ingresso si cerca di integrare a tutti gli effetti una zona che altrimenti sarebbe solo di passaggio.
La camera da letto è separata dalla zona giorno grazie ad una grande porta scorrevole a scomparsa che consente di dividere le due zone. Quando la porta scorrevole è aperta, anche grazie alla parete attrezzata che dall’ingresso prosegue fino in camera, soggiorno e zona notte rimangono comunque sempre in comunicazione come se quasi non fossero separate.
E’ stata perciò eliminata la quasi totalità delle pareti interne; rimane invariata la posizione della parete tra bagno e soggiorno dove trovano collocazione tutte le colonne montanti degli impianti.
Il bagno è stato leggermente ampliato e si è scelto di collocare la doccia in corrispondenza del “bow window” al fine di ottimizzare lo spazio così da poter anche inserire un antibagno con funzione di lavanderia; allo stesso tempo la doccia è grande e spaziosa e i nuovi serramenti con eventuale vetro opaco non creano problemi di manutenzione e privacy.
L’altezza interna di 3 m viene in parte ridotta con controsoffitti al fine di inserire l’illuminazione perimetrale con gole luminose e l’illuminazione a soffitto con faretti a led.

The renovation project aims to broaden the perception of space, especially in the living area, unifying the entrance area with the kitchen, the living room and the utility room. Living area becomes an open space where the kitchen peninsula is the central element. I’ve placed the bar counter of the peninsula towards the entrance with the aim to integrate an area that otherwise would be just passing through.
The bedroom is separated from the living area through a large sliding door that allows to divide the two areas. When the sliding door is open, thanks to the equipped wall that goes up from the entrance to bedroom, living room and sleeping area are always in communication almost as if they were not separated.
It was therefore eliminated almost all of the internal walls; It does not change the position of the wall between the bathroom and the living room where are placed all the risers of the plant.
The bathroom was slightly enlarged and I chose to place the shower in the "bow window" in order to maximize the space and place an anteroom with laundry facility; at the same time the shower is large and spacious and new windows with opaque glass do not create any problems of maintenance and privacy.
The internal height of 3 m is partly reduced with ceilings in order to enter the perimeter lighting with lighting cove and ceiling lighting with LED spotlights.
