Casa del sole

The project explores five alternative layout solutions, each proposing a different spatial strategy.

Options 1 and 2 are supported by 3D renderings to better illustrate the design intent.


In Options 1, 2, and 3, the kitchen is integrated with the living and dining areas to create an open, social space suitable for gatherings and everyday life.

In Options 4 and 5, the kitchen is separated to enlarge the living area, while maintaining visual continuity and accessibility through glass partitions.

In all proposals, load-bearing walls are preserved, full-height windows are introduced only along the garden-facing façade, and a clear distinction between public (day) and private (night) zones is maintained.

In Option 3, a previously lower floor area is levelled to create a walk-in closet and en-suite solution for the master bedroom.
