First of all I want to thank you for the opportunity to work in this project and hope you like it!.
All the design was thought to create a cozy and familiar space and keep the original design of the house, in my opinion it’s a real pleasure, the colors were chosen creating a contrast between light and darker colors. As the entire space is connected, some elements, like wall paint and flooring material, are used to separate the ambients. So you have an integrated social area and kitchen, but still have the feeling of different spaces. As a suggestion I put a larger door on the access of the kitchen and dinner room, so you still have a view of the space while cooking.
The kitchen was designed large with a big island in the center of the space. Light color was used, to have the sensation of enlarged and clear space.
I’m attaching the demolition/ construction plan for execution, and also developed the Lighting Plan, Flooring material, Furniture List, and Finishes List for the first floor, as suggestion.
