A new hall/access room createsa clear division between the living room and the private spaces (bedroom) orservice. New walls (such as walk-in closets) have not been built, in order tomaintain the big rooms; electrical, plumbing and heating systems have not beenmoved in order to limit complicated and expensive solutions. The ceiling in thecentral part of the house has been turned into a false ceiling, to be used asstorage. The style of the project is simple and elegant: light colors contrastwith the dark floor (wengè wood), light walls are very high (h 3.50 m), furnitureand fabrics are sober and modern at the same time.
