General Description
Our design offers a fresh environment combining the Mediterranean and modern setting. The major works consists in the partial removal of internal walls between the entrance area and bedrooms, also by widening existing window openings and the replacement with wider sliding French doors, thus transforming it into a new open space environment layout (living/kitchen). The solution makes the area to appear wider and brighter, improving the link between indoor and outdoor by offering a view of the sea from the entrance zone.
Entry and Hallway
A new and original look of the entrance area renders it brighter giving a welcoming perception. The new windows allow an amplification of the views offering space and depth to the environment. In order to optimize and to better organize the spaces, a modular cupboard with sliding doors has been placed in the wall recess.
Living and Kitchen The main feature of the house is the living area incorporating a spacious functional kitchen with modern lines and a comfortable lounge. The suspended bio-ethanol fireplace, stylish and light, renders the environment unique offering intimacy the warmth of the classical fireplace without producing fumes and ashes. The materials and the clear hues chosen for the finishes, decorations and accessories give a feeling of welcome and of relaxation.
Master Bedroom The master bedroom is essentially a clear and clean area reflecting the new aesthetics of a master bedroom. The design envisages a separate divided space for a walk- in wardrobe by means of a glass sliding screen door giving added character without changing the depth. The colours of the palettes of the finishes, furnishings and the natural fabrics recalls the colour of the sea and the sand, inviting one to a relaxing rest.
Bathroom 1 The restyling of the bathroom provides a more functional layout of the fixtures, the positioning of washing machine with a retractable system and the inclusion of a free-standing bath/big shower, renders it an oasis of well-being and relaxation.
Bedroom 2 The room for the domestic/guest has a private en-suite consisting of a small but efficient and comfortable environment. The positioning and furnishings are essential in order to provide a space saving solution. A characteristic element is the natural light that is also obtained in the on-suite is by means of a full glazing panel along the top of the partition wall that separates en-suite and bed. The en-suite is equipped with a mechanical ventilating system.
Patio The outdoor space is in complete harmony with the other parts of the rooms of the house, emphasizing the view of the sea. The patio with its pergola and furniture becomes the ideal space to be used on different occasions.
