Quando ho iniziato a pensare al progetto, per prima cosa ho cercato di rendere la casa più accogliente e familiare. E' una bellissima casa moderna, minimal ma un po' fredda proprio perchè sono stati utilizzati colori come il bianco e il nero. Quindi, volendo comunque mantenere il progetto minimal e moderno, la prima domanda è stata come avrei potuto migliorare ed arricchire l'ambiente esistente, tramite l'utilizzo del colore, dell'arredo, dei rivestimenti e delle finiture. Come prima cosa, ho utilizzato il rivestimento in legno in una finitura calda come il rovere, che riprendesse la tonalità di colore delle travi esistenti a soffitto. L'ho utilizzato per esempio come rivestimento nella zona lounge al piano interrato vicino al biliardo e nella palestra attraverso l'utilizzo delle lamelle di legno e nell'arredo, come nella scelta del tavolo e delle sedie della cucina e del mobile lavabo del bagno. Ho aggiunto dei tocchi di colore alle stanze come per esempio nella parete dietro al letto nella camera matrimoniale e nei cuscini del divano nel soggiorno. Inoltre, nella scelta dell'arredamento ho cercato di rispettare il budget, scegliendo arredi particolari ma con un prezzo accessibile. Nella selezione arredi sono state fatte più soluzioni: per la cucina per esempio, ho proposto di sostituire il tavolo, le sedie e la lampada a sospensione esistenti per rendere l'atmosfera più calda. È possibile comunque mantenere anche gli arredi già presenti, poichè si sposano bene con la nuova parete tv, con le due mensole inserite sopra il piano cucina e con il rivestimento in mosaico che arricchiscono l'ambiente.

When I started thinking about the project, I first tried to make the house more welcoming and familiar. It is a beautiful modern house, minimal but a little cold precisely because colors such as black and white have been used. So, still wanting to keep the project minimal and modern, the first question was how I could improve and enrich the existing environment, through the use of color, furnishings, coatings and finishes. First, I used the wooden cladding in a warm finish such as oak, which echoed the color tone of the existing ceiling beams. For example, I used it as a covering in the lounge area in the basement near the billiards and in the gym through the use of wooden slats and in the furnishings, as in the choice of the table and chairs in the kitchen and the bathroom sink cabinet. I added touches of color to the rooms, such as the wall behind the bed in the master bedroom and the sofa cushions in the living room. In addition, in choosing the furniture I tried to respect the budget, choosing particular furniture but with an affordable price. In the furniture selection several solutions have been made: for the kitchen for example, I proposed to replace the existing table, chairs and suspension lamp to make the atmosphere warmer. However, it is also possible to keep the furnishings already present, as they go well with the new TV wall, with the two shelves inserted above the kitchen top and with the mosaic covering that enrich the environment.
