This proposal was created with the owner’s perspective and the location of the kitchen and the bathrooms, in mind. Basically the kitchen would not be altered due to the position of pillars. However, there could be a structural replacement I recommend leaving them where they are now.
Even thought the kitchen and the bathrooms remain in the same location. I like to change the configuration of the space in the social area, in order to get more space and to connect the; kitchen, living room and hall. I think a direct access between the living room and the bathroom would be necessary. So when you enter to the apartment you will discover one open space where you can see every social area in one
I have designed a piece of furniture to separate the hall from the dining room. This not only brings a visual separation into the space but also it could be use to storage; glasses, dining ware, and silver ware.
I like to keep the idea of an auxiliary closet, but instead of having just one, I have put two in the open area that will become in a transition area between the social and private areas
The bedrooms will be connected through a new private area. The kid’s room will be more spacious and it will have a similar square area than the girl’s room.

The master bedroom will stay in the same place as well as the bathroom. I will change the location of the bathroom furniture and its access. The private closet space will be maximize by leaving one whole area, where we new closets will be added.
