The mood I wanted to give the room, following the directions of the client, has been a combination of contemporary and rustic style, but also while maximizing the usage of space. The coziness of this zone you wish you had is given by the warm colors and natural materials such as wood and stone finishes which integrate seamlessly into the mountain surrounding.
I use grayish blue materials which is a complementary color of brown (what dominates the room) to broke the monotonity and give some elegance. Another contrast that appears in the design is between the rustic ambiance and the modern furniture.
The large walk-trough dressing room is placed between the bathroom and the master bedroom what separates visually the entrance from the sleeping area, to give more intimacy to this space. This also can be created by the optional sliding doors marked on the floor plan. The toilet is also separated by the bathroom with a stone finished wall, but this area also can function very well without any doors included.
