The design aims to use the strength of the space as much as possible. The strong points of the space to be utilized are,
High ceiling on one end because created by the pitched roof
Large window in the kitchen
Sufficient width of Kitchen

Since the interior wall of the kitchen has more vertical space it is being utilized for storage, fridge and freezer. High cabinets have concealed storage providing ample space for all necessary cooking items. The far end of the cabinet adjacent to the range has equipment unit with power sockets. This part can hide away appliances like blender, toaster, kettle inside while it can be pulled out only when necessary.

The wall adjacent to pantry is utilized for range. It is equipped with a 5-burner stove, hob and an oven.

The wall with the window has a kitchen and base cabinets. This wall brings in light brightening up the space. This storage wall can be used for crockery and cutlery. These cabinets have concealed table and seating which can be used as dining for two people. Since there is enough width in the kitchen this part is chosen for the dynamic seating. While cooking this area provides ample space for preparation.
In the event of entertaining a group of people, an additional fold-out dining area is provided with foldable chairs that can be hung on the wall. This space can be used as a work area while the table is concealed.

A contemporary style is adopted for the kitchen with bright colours that represent summer as requested by the client.
