Since the space of the studio is limited and even though the wall of the bathroom have completely been torn down, we decided to kept the bathroom and the sewage lines in the same location and positioned the kitchen in the corner next to the bathroom as originally requested. The reason is simple: in our opinion natural light is fundamental for the wellbeing of the inhabitants and to give the apartment a warm and cozy touch, so that it would have been a pity to loose the window in the kitchen.
In the kitchen there are fridge, sink, stove, washing machine, microwave/grill (on top of the built-in washing machine) and a few cabinets to store dishes, pans, pots, cutlery, food and what’s needed in a kitchen. If you would consider putting a smaller washing machine in the bathroom (on the market you can find some that are 45cm deep) than you could also have space for the dish-washer in the kitchen.
On the right side of the entrance a bookcase can accommodate books and other amenities.
A wardrobe opening towards the entrance has the double function of storing the inhabitants’ clothes and belongings and hiding the night area from the view.
The night area can easily accommodate a queen size bed and a night table. The bed is also separated from the living area by a curtain that grants more privacy when needed but can also be set aside to allow a wider view and let more light in the living area through the window. The curtain is hold by a stick that goes from the wardrobe to the wall on top of the window.
In the living area there are a TV set and two comfortable chairs with a small coffee table in-between, where one can sit and relax.
The “porch” is studied to host an additional bed and can be made more private by dividing it from the living area through another curtain. This area can also be used as a relaxing/reading area.
As for the color, since the apartment is rather small I suggest using white (or a very light grey) on all the walls to brighten up the ambience, an exception is made for the wall on the right of the entrance (behind the bookcase and the bed) and the small portion behind the table where I would consider dressing up with a black/white/grey tones wallpaper to give the room more style and character. Behind the kitchen I used hexagonal small tiles of a greyish/white color. In the bathroom I used blue/light blue tiles, azulejos style only for the walls behind the shower. The other 2 walls you can use either white or grey.
For the furniture I would choose grey elements for beds, bedside tables, wardrobe, table. The kitchen should be white. I suggest windows to be black or a dark grey to frame with style the exterior. Black, white and grey give the ambience the most elegant touch, but to give it a fresh yet warmer and cozy hint I would add some colorful details, like blue armchairs, yellow pillows, etc.
Since you live in Baku I don’t know which are the low budget furniture store where you can shop, but if I’m
not wrong there is Ikea where you can find all the furniture pieces similar to the ones I put in the plan with
a good quality/price ratio. For the lightings I suggested for that matter Ikea pieces.

For the same reason, concerning the finishing, we can’t really suggest where to find tiles, paint, and wallpaper, etc., so we gave you an idea about what to look for in the local low budget store of your choice.
