Plav, Montenegro
Commerciale - B&B
Tanja Radovanovic
Settled by the Plav lake in Montenegro, the building is following the configuration of the lakeshore terrain. The roof and form of the building are broken into smaller pieces, making it look like a small village. Inspired by the context and traditional housing in the area, the hewn stone is used as both roof and facade material. It's closed like a fortress towards the street but open with a glass facade to the views of the lake. The ground floor (top floor) has more public facilities such as a spa, restaurant, entrance hall, etc, while -1 are rooms and -2 are suits that have gardens and direct access to the lake. The ground floor is cut in two by the entrance passage, which gives a beautiful view and, if followed, goes straight to the water of the lake.
