The A.S.P Residential renovation project, designed by Hooba Design, focuses on blurring the clear distinction between interior and exterior spaces. By widening the boundary, the project creates an "in-between" active and multi-dimensional space, which serves as an evolutionary and mediating element to enhance the connection between the inside and outside.
The conceptual approach for this integration includes several key strategies as shown in 105.jpg:
Increasing Boundary Thickness: The design expands the traditional wall or border to create a more substantial transition zone.
Reflective Material Penetration: The use of reflective surfaces helps bridge the gap between interior and exterior, allowing for a more abstract and fluid perception of space.
In-between Space Creation: The final design results in a transitional area that acts as a mutual space between the yard and the internal environment
