Energy Efficient Two Storey Apartment _ Total Re-Development

Total Re-Design and Re-Development of a Two-Storey Apartment in a Late 1970s building, for a family of four.
Energy efficient solutions for the total independece of the apartment.
Custom-made steel pergolas to supprt the shading system, specially designed to accommodate the photovoltaic panels.
Interior Architecture solutions: the original two storeys of the apartment were shifted, that is they both changed use.
The lower floor originally consisted of the living room, the kitchen, a small bathroom and a guest room, while the bedrooms and a large bathroom were on the upper floor, not making use of the spacious veranda with a beautiful sea view.
Through the new design of the apatment for the family, the bedrooms were moved downstairs, along with a laundry and storage room, a bathroom for the two bedrooms of the children and an ensuite bathroom and dressing room for the master bedroom. In parallel, the living, kitchen and dining areas were moved upstairs, along with a guest room and a bathroom in order to make use of the wonderful veranda.
