Environmentally Proactive Soho Loft

Located in Chelsea/ Meat Packing pre war factory building, this space was desired to be a healthy place to live - inside and out the property. The actual architecture was treated by natural paints, finishes and textiles, to ensure the use of plastic is reduced to minimum.

A vegetational layer, a living tree suspended from the ceiling create an oxygen creating balance for a family of four, ensuring the space absorbs waste gases from the space itself as well as from the streets of New York. A vertical kitchen garden allows 365 days per year a source of home grown greens that ensures environmental proactivity.
