PEÑASCO

The Peñasco is located in the highest part of the Rosales neighborhood in Bogotá, Colombia. A privileged place not only for its altitude, but also for its proximity to a forest reserve that will keep you close to nature in the heart of the city. The Peñasco is an evocation of the golden age of Bogotan architecture that blends with an evolution in design and finishes to take luxury to another level.
The facades were designed with vertical and horizontal elements in visible ochre-colored concrete with texture, large walls in cross-woven recooked brick forming a kind of braid design on some eaves and walls that give the building a volumetric play. The eaves are in a double wall for better sound insulation and finish. The eastern facade has a view towards the hills of Bogotá trying to locate all the rooms and most private areas towards said facade while the western facade is built in tempered glass from floor to ceiling with glass railings on the terraces that allow the view over the entire city of Bogotá locating the social areas on said side.
It is a 13-story building that has 18 unique apartments with areas from 85 sqm to 209 sqm which were designed according to the needs and taste of each customer.
