The project for the improvement of a boarding house for the elderly in the suburbs.

In Russia, the industry of building boarding houses for the elderly is underdeveloped. The creation of landscapes on such objects is usually reduced to standard solutions, without taking into account the specifics of such objects. We conducted a large pre-project analysis, including the experience of foreign colleagues, communication with psychologists and analysis of the territory development scenario in order to understand how the landscape should work here. This project is about the absolute accessibility of the environment for a person, psychological safety and physical independence. About the symbiosis of functional space and the natural environment, respect for privacy and freedom.

The project was carried out jointly with landscape architect Alexandra Petrenko and landscape company Arteza.
