Esterno - Giardino
Hello Client,
It has been a pleasure working on your project. I am pleased to present my landscape design proposal, carefully developed to match your requirements while creating a functional, elegant, and cohesive outdoor environment. The design organises the space into distinct yet interconnected zones, each tailored to your lifestyle and enhancing the overall aesthetic value of the garden.
Dining & BBQ Zone
The existing pergola has been transformed into a vibrant open space. A dining table with seating has been positioned beneath the pergola, while a corner kitchen featuring an IKEA BBQ unit has been integrated along the adjacent wall. Warm wall-mounted LED lighting highlights the brick texture and complements the off-white limestone flooring, creating a welcoming and timeless atmosphere.
Wellness Zone
Extending from the pergola, a natural marble counter with high bar chairs defines a refined lounge setting. This zone is elevated on a three-step deck (+0.45m), where both a hot bath and a cold tub have been installed. The layout allows for flexible use—whether as intimate seating for gatherings or as a serene wellness retreat. Embedding the hot bath within the deck enhances visual continuity with the garden and creates a luxurious connection to the sunbathing area. Track lighting provides focused illumination, emphasising the materials and atmosphere.
Sunbathing & Firepit Zone
Four sun loungers are arranged in a semicircle around a raised fire pit placed on a built-in cylindrical table. The flooring here combines smooth concrete with a surrounding gravel strip, which doubles as discreet rainwater drainage while maintaining a contemporary look. This solution strikes a balance between technical functionality and design elegance. Existing plants have been preserved and integrated to reinforce sustainability, while floor lanterns and downward-facing wall LED fixtures provide a warm, glare-free evening ambience.
Outdoor Shower
Adjacent to the sunbathing zone, an outdoor shower is set against a stone-clad wall with indirect lighting. The semicircular stone floor with gravel ensures proper drainage, while natural wood cladding adds warmth and character. The shower area is complemented by surrounding banana and cactus plants, seamlessly tying it to the overall landscape style.
Additional Features
Garden Shed: Strategically placed between the sunbathing area and the drainage system, with a sloped roof for efficient rainwater runoff.
Circulation: Concrete stepping tiles create a modern walkway, linking all zones while maintaining the garden’s openness.
Fencing & Lighting: A new light-colored PVC fence with integrated longitudinal LED strips and downward-directed wall lamps ensures both privacy and atmospheric evening lighting.
Pergola Enhancements: Retractable fly screens and curtains have been introduced in the pergola to allow flexibility—enjoying open views of the landscape when desired or creating a more intimate setting when needed.
This proposal aims to balance functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability, providing you with a versatile outdoor environment that supports both relaxation and social gatherings. I look forward to your feedback and hope the design exceeds your expectations.
