First of all, we cannot state how much we enjoyed working on your project. We found it challenging and we are more than satisfied with the result (we are sure you will be, too).
Brief explaining of the concept: we transferred the idea of open space available on the first floor into the upstairs bedroom, giving it a touch of glamour with a free-standing bathtub in direct connection with the bed and, also, solving the little amount of space we were given for the upstairs bathroom.
The central piece of this apartment is, without any doubt, the living room/dining room/kitchen area. We decided to keep the same floor finishes in all this spaces, marking the different functional areas with different treatment applied to the ceiling (wood slats with lighting in between them).
Also the wood slats are present in the loft bedroom, giving the space a clear idea of unity.
The staircase we have chosen is a simple, but elegant one, together with the finishes giving that extra touch of modern. We also consider that our proposal will satisfy you both visually and budget-wise.
