Dear Client, hope you’re doing well.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time to fully develop the materials and details for the model, but I reviewed your plan and requirements carefully and at the last moment really wanted to take part in this challenge.
I know cost wasn’t your top priority, but based on your plan I felt there was no need for major demolition. With only minimal changes, the layout could be improved and the design alone could achieve your goals.
I have prepared two alternatives, but my personal preference is the first option. In this layout:
I placed a flower box in the center of the home, which clearly separates the living and dining areas.
In the kitchen, I added a storage/pantry space that can be used either for dry goods or as a secondary kitchen pantry.
Since I thought you might also prefer the private areas to be separated from the public ones, I added a sliding door to divide these spaces. Of course, if you prefer not to separate them, you can simply skip this door.
At the entrance, I placed a shoe cabinet and several built-in wardrobes to create a proper filter zone.
In the corridor/private area, I designed a small laundry and storage space, and a full-length sliding-door closet along the hallway which can serve as either a storage unit or a wardrobe.
Each bedroom includes a built-in wardrobe to meet individual storage needs.
As you requested, the kitchen features an island with a breakfast bar, with the hob located on the island.
I believe this is the best design with the least demolition required.
In the second alternative:
The two living room areas are separated by a rotating TV unit and an electric fireplace.
The main positive feature of this option is that the dining table is closer to the kitchen.
In both layouts, I placed ceiling diffusers to allow for a concealed cooling system that provides comfortable airflow. On the ceiling plan, I indicated the exact positions for the AC units.
I also included my proposed color sheet in the submission list.
Once again, I apologize for not having the time to fully apply materials to the model. I also couldn’t leave a message for you on the message board to request a little extension.
