Dear Client,
Attached you will find the detailed floor plan and final proposal for the organization of Martin's room. The main goal of this design was to create a dynamic, safe and multifunctional space, which fully meets the needs of an 8-year-old boy and which can be easily adapted as he grows.
To maximize space and functionality, the room is divided into four main areas:
Study Area (Concentration): Positioned along the left wall, we have designed a wide and linear work desk. This space offers ample space for two chairs, making it ideal for homework time, whether alone, with a friend, or when an adult is needed. Storage modules and a library for books and school supplies are integrated next to it.
Sleeping Area (Relaxation): The bed is designed in a raised format (bunk type), with comfortable standard dimensions (200 cm long). Its positioning in this form is an intelligent solution to free up floor space, giving the room more ventilation and play space.
Activity and Play Area: This is the heart of the room for an energetic boy. In the central part we have left a wide space (where the carpet is positioned) for free games. Meanwhile, as we have seen in the 3D visualizations, a dedicated space on the wall has been turned into an "Adventure Corner" with a Climbing Wall and gymnastic elements, equipped with a protective mat (cream color) at the bottom for maximum safety.
Wardrobe and Storage Area: We have positioned a wardrobe body with high storage capacity, which integrates naturally with the architecture of the room without obstructing light or movement.
Ergonomics and Circulation:
As can see from the measurements (dimensions) on the floor plan, we have maintained very spacious movement corridors of free circulation space between furniture. This ensures that the room does not feel congested and that Martin can move or play freely and safely.
Lighting:
Artificial lighting points (marked in yellow on the plan) are strategically distributed to cover the center of the room, the play area and the entrance with light, compensating for the lack of natural lighting and creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
