We are very happy that our team was able to participate in your beautiful contest.
The first step in designing the roof was to create separate sections with proper access between them.
The hot tub was placed in the most protected part of the roof, the living area was kept in its previous location, and a gazebo with glass walls (sliding doors) was planned to protect it and the staircase.
The dimensions of the gazebo were chosen in such a way that, while protecting the staircase and living area, it would create an integrated space between the stairs and the living area in winter when the glass doors are closed, which would allow it to be used without having to enter the open air.
The bar table was planned in a place that, while separating the hot tub from the living area, had proper access from all parts of the roof (hot tub, living area, and barbecue).
Light resin was used to cover the floor.
In order to create a modern yet warm and natural environment, a combination of light colors, wood, and decorative plants was used.
Light colors and dark woods were used to create a modern yet warm aesthetic contrast.
Cold-resistant plants were used for the design and their arrangement was done in a way that protected the open areas of the roof.
A structure with a retractable awning was used on the glass part of the roof, this structure was installed slightly above the glass roof so that when the awning is closed, while creating shade on the lower terrace, light passes through the gap between the new structure and the glass roof.
A modern arrangement was also used in the veranda with a combination of warm colors and wood, which can provide you with a warm and intimate experience by using a fireplace, furniture and wine and book shelves.
