This project focuses on renovating and enlarging a compact two-floor house to maximize every available square meter while improving functionality, comfort, and spatial flow.

Starting from the entrance, the design begins through a small front garden leading into the ground floor. Upon entering, the kitchen is positioned as the first focal point, designed with a central island and a dining table placed directly beside it. This arrangement was intentional to consolidate all food-related functions in one efficient zone, especially considering the limited size of the living room, while maintaining an open and practical flow.

Beyond the kitchen, the layout opens into the living area, furnished with a sectional sofa, an accent chair, and a coffee table. To optimize the space further, a wall was introduced in front of the staircase to serve multiple functions: creating a TV wall, adding valuable storage, and concealing the bathroom entrance with a hidden door and concealed hinges for a clean, seamless look. The bathroom itself was enlarged to improve usability and to accommodate a washing machine, offering the client the option to keep the laundry indoors. As an alternative solution, a second option was developed with a dedicated laundry room located in the garden as an independent outdoor service space.

For the first floor, two design options were explored to suit different lifestyle preferences. Both options maintain two bedrooms while enlarging the shared bathroom and introducing a dressing area positioned between the rooms to improve storage and circulation. For the bedroom layouts, two furnishing concepts were proposed. The first option integrates the bed with built-in wardrobes surrounding it, maximizing storage while creating a cohesive design feature. The second option places the bed beneath the window to create a different spatial experience and allow for a more open furniture arrangement.
