I've tried to organized your spaces as request.

Ground Floor
The area for living, dining and kitchen is not so big, but with the composition that I suggest you I think that the the space looks very functional and clean. In particular, I'd like to notice the hidden desk that you can take out when you need it.

First Floor
I thought that this apartments is for a young couple. So I divide the area without any walls. The storage room became a walk.in.closet and I suggest to paint The "totem" so it can be useful for put above the TV system.

These are only a preview composition for organize the main furniture.
