new home needs stuff

I am a first time homeowner and need to make my house actually look cool. I am almost 30, have a girlfriend, and no kids. I am young and want to have a fun house, nothing too serious or modern. I think I like a more rustic look

I will take this room by room...

- Living Room... I am looking to keep the brown leather couch, and the entertainment center. Other than that, I dont care what stays or goes. The room has a lot of brown, between the brown paint, hardwood floors, furniture, and brick fireplace. I need to spice it up. I also need plenty of lighting. All the light comes from windows or lamps (no lighting in the ceiling). I also need art for the walls.

- Dining Room... This is connected to the living room but all I have is a wooden table (which I like) and an old painting (which could go). I really need a small table and chairs. Most of the time it will only be my girlfriend and I eating. The dining room also leads to the backyard.

- Bedroom... This room is pretty bare. I have a black entertainment center and two black nightstands that I would like to keep. The bed cover can be changed along with anything else in this room. I dont have any blinds and jsut a sheet over the window. This needs to change. The only thing I request is that it blocks out the outside light almost completely.

Notes... I would also like to add some pictures of my girlfriend and I, so recommendations on placement and frames would be good.

I would really like to be given an idea of items to decorate with that can be bought online.

I tried to include multiple pictures of all three rooms from different angles. I will be happy to take more if needed.
