Mansarda Nina

This project has been developed through two design alternatives, both conceived with full respect for the existing layout, structural conditions, and the current position of windows and openings.

Alternative 01

The first alternative is designed with a strong emphasis on preserving the existing conditions. The kitchen remains in its original location, ensuring functional efficiency and minimizing construction complexity.
A laundry space, sized according to the client’s request, is located adjacent to the kitchen to provide optimal service and to avoid relocating sewage and plumbing systems.

The public living areas are positioned immediately after the entrance hall. Thanks to favorable natural light, this zone benefits from high spatial quality and flexibility of use.
The private areas are clearly separated and include two children’s bedrooms and a master bedroom, arranged in a way that guarantees privacy and acoustic comfort for all family members.

Alternative 02

In the second alternative, while still respecting the existing layout and the kitchen’s position, the design focuses on achieving the best possible placement of the public living spaces in terms of natural light, circulation, and accessibility.

In this option, the master bedroom benefits from excellent natural lighting and is complemented by a dedicated walk-in closet, enhancing comfort, functionality, and spatial quality. This alternative places greater emphasis on spatial hierarchy and the experiential quality of both public and private zones
