Dear client,
Nestled in the serene embrace of the mountains, this contemporary chalet-style home offers a perfect blend of modern comfort and natural materials, respecting the surrounding landscape while providing year-round functionality. The design features a well-organized basement, ground floor, and first floor, ensuring practicality for family living or a mountain getaway.
The exterior combines Valdarno stone cladding on the lower portion for stability and warmth, with natural wooden cladding adding texture and a welcoming tone. Large anthracite-gray aluminum windows frame the surrounding views while maximizing natural light, and the anthracite Alu-bond roof lines emphasize the clean geometry of the structure. The roof covering can be metal or clay tiles, providing flexibility to adapt to climate and aesthetic preferences while ensuring durability in mountain conditions. Wooden veranda fences extend the living space outdoors, inviting residents to enjoy crisp mountain mornings and golden sunsets.
A slightly higher height than you originally proposed was chosen due to building regulations, ensuring compliance while maintaining balanced proportions and elegance.
Special care was taken to ensure energy efficiency throughout the design. A square, compact shape was chosen to minimize heat loss, while a separate staircase zone that can remain unheated further reduces energy consumption. The exterior walls are planned in total 40cm width (building blocks, insolation and cladding) ensuring thermal comfort and reducing energy demand in both winter and summer conditions, creating a sustainable, comfortable home ideal for mountain climates.
The project balances aesthetics with durability, making it an ideal home for those seeking peace and connection with nature while enjoying modern amenities and a timeless architectural language.
Best regards!
