Descrizione Progetto

This design preserves the existing layout because the spatial arrangement is already optimal in terms of flow and zoning between the living and dining areas. The intervention focuses on elevating materials, detailing, and visual layering while maintaining the integrity of the original spatial concept.

The sofa is replaced with a modular Minotti system to introduce flexibility in configuration while reinforcing a refined luxury character within the living area. The sofa is slightly repositioned backward to improve circulation and create a clearer transitional buffer. A console is then placed behind the sofa, acting as a semi-permeable divider between the living and dining zones—maintaining the openness of the space while providing subtle spatial definition.

The existing tall cabinet is retained due to its strong functional value as vertical storage. However, its design is upgraded to a wood veneer finish combined with aluminum-framed doors and decorative glass panels in smoked or frosted treatment. This transformation allows the cabinet to function as a multifunctional element—storage, display unit, and bookshelf—while maintaining a visually light presence.

The TV feature wall is redefined using travertine stone to introduce a warm natural luxury character. It is paired with a wood veneer TV console, enhanced with layered lighting to create depth and establish a strong focal point within the living space. This combination of stone and wood strengthens the material contrast and elevates the overall atmosphere.

A large area rug anchors the entire seating composition, visually consolidating the living zone and improving spatial clarity. It also enhances acoustic comfort and reinforces a more grounded and cohesive interior composition.

As for the accent element, the previously considered red armchair provides a strong statement, but in this approach it is replaced with the Abraci armchair. This choice introduces a more subtle yet distinctive accent, ensuring visual interest while maintaining harmony and preventing the living space from feeling monotonous.
