Descrizione Progetto

Project for a 3 bedrooms apartment overlooking Beirut city.

The idea is to create a central core, covering the walls of the maid bedroom and bathroom with a large white bookcase up to the ceiling, in order to create a visual connection between the living area and the sleeping area. The bookcase becomes the design secheme pin , characterized by the contrast with the dark gray wall behind her.
We agree with the idea of creating an open space between living room and dining room,
as it creates a wider and more modern space.
We decided to install two free standing bioethanol fireplaces instead of a gas chimney. Bioethanol fireplace it is more practical, manageable and more appealing aesthetically. The two small fireplaces in project can be moved as one wishes.
Installing also a bar could be really useful, you don’t need to go to the kitchen when you would like to drink something. We suggest to place the bar near to dining table, in the wall hollow.
The project contemplate to move the maid room door to the wall in front of the house entrance, in order to maintain the bookcase view from the living room.
The maid room has light colours and a homely and cozy design, because the room is small and devoid of natural light.
We agree with the idea of closing the balcony with a curtain glass.
As for the decor of the apartment, we chose these colors: white, gray, beige and aquamarine.
We chose modern furniture but with a touch of classical, as well as had been requested.
The kitchen design is simple and functional, in a white colour with a gray porphyry top and a peninsula for quick meals.
As regards the design of bathrooms we thought to characterize each one with a different color, in accordance with the basic colors used for the rest of the house. All bathrooms feature mosaic walls in glossy, light and bright color, because all of them are devoid of natural light.
We planned to create a false ceiling over the hallway and the bedroom entrances and over a part of the living room. Hidden inside the false celing, air conditioning ducts run toward registers and grilles to diffuse fresh air into the rooms.
The false ceiling hosts also led downlights for room illumination.
A simple choice of white lights, all produced by It’s about Romi, except for the suspended lamps over the dinng table, produced by Rothschild & Boikers.
Wall painting is: grey (RAL 7047) for the guests bathroom, cream (RAL 9001), slate grey (RAL 7015) for walls beside the bookcase, pure white (RAL 9010) for the rest of the walls.
