The project we are presenting is based both on the client's requests and the space available to work on. Therefore, it focuses on making maximum use of space and using a clean-lined layout. A long, wooden shelf leads from the entrance to the living room thus combining the two areas. The wall area above the shelf is the same colour as the ceiling (white).
The living area is located at the bottom of the plan, below to the kitchen so that there would be no need to close the door if the kitchen were untidy. Behind the couch, in front of the window, is a big, solid wood table that can seat up to 8 people.
In regard to the lighting, we suggest moving the main light source from the centre of the room to hang directly above the table; a floor-based lamp is used to illuminate the TV area.
The cosy, minimal style and the light colour combinations make for a light-enhancing and more spacious overall look.
