Home Sweet Home

This project focuses on the complete renovation of a bright 140-square-meter apartment located on the first floor of a four-story building. Without altering the existing wall layout, the goal was to transform the space into a modern, functional, and welcoming home tailored for a young family. Each room was reimagined to reflect both practicality and warmth, in line with the family's daily lifestyle and future plans.

Upon entry, the apartment now offers a cozy and inviting entrance hall that sets the tone for the home. A newly designed TV wall separates the entry from the living room, creating a subtle architectural division while also serving as a visual focal point. A mirrored wall design paired with a console enhances the sense of space and light, and there's room beneath the console for a bench or pouf—adding both comfort and flexibility. A built-in wardrobe is cleverly concealed within the wall design, maintaining a clean and seamless appearance.

In the living room, a balance of modern lines and warm materials creates a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. The generous space accommodates both a lounge area and a dining zone comfortably. The renovated parquet flooring, preserved as requested and updated with a lighter tone, enhances the brightness throughout the apartment—including the three bedrooms.

The bedrooms were kept in their original layout but reinterpreted with a more contemporary and practical approach. Bathrooms were fully renovated, replacing tubs with showers to optimize functionality and space. The kitchen was reconfigured to support both everyday family routines and shared moments, combining efficiency with a sense of openness.

This interior renovation blends modern and industrial style with soft, welcoming touches—creating a flexible, light-filled home that reflects the spirit of a growing family while honoring the apartment’s original character.
