The main problem with all basements is not the absence of the light but the feeling because we cant see any glassdoor or windows. We did a trick here and we add a glass panels under of one celing window and we create an internal ''yard'' with plants and natural light. For the rest we add only one wall in the bedroom. As divider for office and living area, a multi fabric panel do the job, but if you want more privicy two sliding door instead the panels can do the diference but is more permanent. Light colors everywhere and simple furniture. The only custom furniture is the desk - simple too. An easy, not expensive and modern solution.
