The project covers an area of 250 m2. For this project, the client requires a spa, a jacuzzi, a sunbathing area, a reading area and also a BBQ area , everything cozy . That’s why we take as basic concept continuity and homogeneity in materials and lineament with virtual ceilings, which give a feeling of being in a single room all the time but we can also perceive the difference between areas coexisting in this environment. For the spa and the jacuzzi we tried to have an environment with no roof, completely outdoors but still surrounded by services that are complementary. To take advantage of the sunbathing and reading area we decided to transform part of the garden into a platform in which it looks appealing to put a swimming pool and a bathroom which, although they were not part of the requirements of the client, we decided to take into account for the design. The kitchenette and BBQ meet the requirements given by the client and they also have a table to eat and is part of the assembly. Likewise, we implemented a social area which consists of a movable part of the platform and a campfire. We consider the lighting in two forms: natural light, which is in some environments (the ones required) supressed, moderated or fully exposed; and artificial light, which hangs from the ceilings.
