Descrizione Progetto

The design approach prioritizes spatial clarity and functional efficiency, establishing a coherent relationship between various programmatic zones. Public and private areas are distinctly defined to enhance both social interaction and individual comfort. Circulation flows naturally throughout the plan, while bedrooms and other private spaces are strategically placed to ensure acoustic separation, privacy, and a sense of retreat.
In this design, I have considered six alternatives.
Alternative 1 includes the least amount of construction and demolition. As you requested, the master bedroom includes a walk-in closet (WIC) and a bathroom with a bathtub. The room has one entrance, and then you enter a small hallway. This allows the WIC to have two entrances. But if you prefer, you can keep the current bathroom wall, turn that part into a closet at the entrance of the room, and have only one entrance to the WIC from the Sleeping zone. The living room is next to the kitchen, and the kitchen is separated from the living area by a glass door and the existing wall. The dining area is placed in front of the living room, next to the biggest window, to create a cozy space for gatherings. I also placed a chair by the window to make a nice corner if you like. The space in front of the kitchen can also be used for a chess table.
In all alternatives, I separated the entrance from the rest of the apartment with a wall and added a closet for coats and bags. In some options, I also included a small bench for shoes in the entrance area — this depends on your taste.
From Alternative 2 onwards, the space layout is completely changed. Since you had no restriction on room positions, I moved the bathroom. The single bedroom is larger in this plan. I placed the living room next to the larger window for better light and space, and the dining room is in line with the kitchen. The laundry room is also larger in this plan.
Alternative 3 is almost the same as number 1, but the laundry room is bigger, the living room furniture layout is different, and instead of a WIC, there are closets inside the bedrooms.
In Alternative 4, the kitchen is placed near the entrance and has two glass doors: one side connects to the apartment entrance, and the other to the dining area and hall. Behind the dining area (which is between the kitchen and living room), I designed a storage closet, useful for dishes or kitchen items. Behind it, the laundry room is located, next to the bathroom. This plan also includes a walk-in closet in the master bedroom, placed before the en-suite bathroom with a bathtub.
In Alternative 5, I changed the entrance to the master bedroom to create a more private access if needed. There is also a closet behind the door of this room.
In the last alternative (6), the kitchen is placed in a new central location, close to the living room, which is now more private, and facing the dining room. The laundry room entrance is inside the bathroom.
Each plan has different features. Since I could not know your exact preferences, I created six alternatives, so you can choose the one that is closest to your taste.
Finally, I also prepared construction and demolition plans for each alternative. These may help you in your decision.
I hope this meets your expectations.
