The building has been treated with an outer
coating of clear panels with stone slabs, to remember the typical country
houses. On the south and west was made a portico (comfortable to sit or eat
outside) that serves as a terrace on the first floor. The portico has a
lightweight structure that does not disturb the structure of the building (if
the concrete is too expensive can be realized in steel or wood) and is only
coated with the same stone slabs of the building, and then taking up the
typical structure of a country house. The wooden floor covers the portico
serving as a terrace for the first floor. On the first floor, on the south
side, a wooden pergola acts as a sunshade for the terrace. The roof of the
block west, is realized at the same height of the roof of the block east, with
regard to the side where there is the scale (north); while it is slightly
higher, with a wooden floor, in the side where there are the bedrooms (to the
south). The interior of the building was remodeled
considering the inclusion of two comfortable bathrooms (one per floor) without
upsetting the internal division to avoid excessive costs. In the living room a
large window allows you to have a privileged view of the pool area. It was
also designed a new accommodation, only as an alternative, eliminating one of
the two scales, which although more expensive makes the interior space wider. All internal changes (especially the opening of
the new window) should be verified once detected the actual structure of the
building As for the exterior, on arrival you are in a
square in beaten earth or stabilized, convenient to park cars. Around the
building there is a clear stone pavement, which becomes wider on the south side
where there is the area covered with pergola. In this area, a large wooden
pergola, allows you to relax in the shade, thanks to the white curtains, and
you can create a relax area and an outdoor dining area. The pergola is directly
connected to the large brick barbecue. The barbecue has a hood that allows you
to cook without disturbing, with the fumes, the people next, and has a double
kitchen area (the grille and a small area to light the fire, creating the coals
or if you want you can adapt to wood-burning oven). The swimming pool is defined by a stone wall,
as well as having an effect of design, has the function to hide the back, under
a mound of earth where you can stay the technical equipment for the pool. In
the pool area there is also a hydromassage area. The wooden paving around, as
well as giving a particular aesthetic effect, allows you to be able to walk to
the pool comfortably barefoot and you can create a drainage system avoiding the
use of unsightly metal grilles. The wood flooring becomes a comfortable shower
that can be used before or after entry into the water. The bungalows have been positioned not too far
away, but in a convenient location to allow more privacy to the villa. The
bungalow has a lightweight wood, simple but impressive architecture, easy to
assemble, and possibly recreate multiple times if you want to build others in
the future. The whole project has been designed with simple
shapes, in order to avoid excessive details to build, and therefore make it
more economical but at the same time seeking a combination of materials
quality, architectural design and effect.
