Descrizione Progetto

The proposal is designed as a flexible holiday apartment with potential future use by a couple.

The strategy is based on minimum structural intervention and maximum spatial efficiency. Only essential partitions are removed to improve spatial quality and circulation, reducing construction costs while preserving existing infrastructure. Wet areas are optimized with minimal relocation: the toilet remains almost in its original position, while the kitchen is repositioned within a technically feasible distance.

In the compact layout, circulation is eliminated in favor of usable space. The entrance hall is transformed into a multifunctional service zone with a double washbasin and stacked washing and drying machines, acting as a buffer between living and bathroom areas and allowing simultaneous use of different functions.

The bedroom and the study/children’s room are designed for flexibility: storage is integrated within a compact footprint, and two transformable smart-working stations are incorporated, allowing both parents and two children to be comfortably accommodated during holiday stays.

Lightweight spatial elements and custom furniture define zones in the living area without compromising openness, supporting both daily use and short-term rental scenarios.

By limiting intervention to essential operations, the project reallocates budget towards interior quality and user experience, resulting in a cost-efficient and adaptable living environment.
