This proposal aims to reimagine the barber shop by drawing inspiration from the iconic barber pole, creating a stylish and contemporary space that pays homage to traditional barbering while embracing modern design elements. The design will focus on a cohesive aesthetic that combines unique floor patterns, rounded features, and a striking color palette to enhance the overall customer experience.
The central theme of the renovation will revolve around the barber pole, utilizing its distinctive colours and patterns to inform the shop's design. Key elements will include:
1. Floor Pattern:
• The flooring will feature a striking pattern inspired by the barber pole, incorporating alternating stripes of black and white porcelain tiles. This eye-catching design will serve as a focal point, guiding clients through the space and creating a dynamic visual experience.

2. Rounded Features:
• To complement the striped floor pattern, the design will incorporate rounded corners throughout the shop. This will be reflected in the continuous wall design, which will feature smooth, rounded edges, creating a soft and inviting atmosphere.
• The wash basins and auxiliary tables will also adopt round shapes, enhancing the overall flow of the space and promoting a sense of comfort and relaxation.

3. Color Palette: The color scheme will be carefully curated to reflect the barber pole's classic colors while maintaining a modern aesthetic:
• Flooring: The black and white stripped flooring will provide a sleek and sophisticated foundation, contrasting beautifully with the rounded features and adding depth to the design.
• Furniture: Black cabinets will be strategically placed throughout the shop, offering ample storage while contributing to the overall modern look. The bold black will create a striking contrast against the lighter elements of the space.
• Accent Color: A pinch of orange will be introduced as an accent colour, reminiscent of the red stripes on the barber pole. This vibrant hue will be incorporated through decorative elements, such as cushions, artwork, or small accessories, adding warmth and energy to the environment.

4. Lighting and Decor: To enhance the ambiance of the barber shop, thoughtful lighting and decor will be integrated into the design:
• Warm Indirect Lighting: A warm indirect lighting scheme will be employed throughout the space, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. This will include recessed lighting, wall sconces, and strategically placed fixtures that highlight key areas without being harsh.
• Greenery: The decor will be completed with the addition of plants, bringing a touch of nature indoors. Strategically placed greenery will not only enhance the aesthetic but also improve air quality and create a calming environment for clients.
