Residenziale - living area
Descrizione
hello and welcome to our residence :).
please note that the dwg drawing covers 3 separate houses laid over 3 floors.
our house is on the middle floor , so the middle drawings.
however it is very important to mention that we dont own all of the floor, it is 2 separate houses on the same floor.
therefore, in the ppt attached, i have highlighted our house and the exact area that needs designing.
you can refer to the drawings for the electrical, lighting, power, heating and AC maps.
The part of our home we would like worked on is the living area, in other words it consists of the living room from one side and the dining room along with a small "salon" on the other side.
I will describe the 14 pictures which will give you a better idea of how everything is laid out:
picture 1 and 2 its the main living room with a sea view which is the first thing you see when you enter the house from the main door.
picture 3 is the same as 1 and 2 but with the camera moved to the right.
Picture 4 shows the living room from the opposite end. You will note a door like shape which is the main door after going up private stairs.
Picture 5 is the critical one. One the right of the pic you have the main entrance door ( u can see part of it ) on the left of the pic you can see a big door separated by a small column please note the column in the middle cannot be removed as it is a main column. and we would to use it as part of the decoration somehow.
On the far left of the pic you can see a small opening, behind this is the kitchen.( of course it will be closed by tinted/shady glass maybe?)
Pictures 6-10 are the wall facing the sea view, the problem with the wall is that it is not even, you have an arcade and parts of the wall that are sticking out, we would like to stick in there a small library, a place for the cds or smthg ...
Picture Number 11 is taken from behind the column in picture number 5 which is where the ( dining/salon is located).
Picture number 12-13 is when you move the camera to your left , you can have a clearer view of the place. ( behind the covered part in nylon in picture 12 there are closets.)
Picture Number 14 if from the perspective of picture 13 you turn 180 degrees you will see an arched type entrance. behind this lies the kitchen ( it has an entrance on the right side) this arch will be most probably a bar with an opening to the dining room.
How will the space be used:
-the 1st part: the living room
pictures 1-10 will be the living room, where the tv books cds, etc will be (please note that i have a big collection of CDs (1000+) that i would like to display in a discrete yet easy way to access on a daily basis.) the tv will be placed on the wall that is facing the main door entrance (which you can see in pic 3), therefore the couch should be facing the sea view and the tv.
the radiator will be placed under the windows, i would like to hide them by a cache radiator somehow. please also include curtains.
also, as you may see in pic 4 & 5 there are arcades in the wall , we would like them to be decorated part of the decoration, maybe paint or cover them with smthg ...
on the wall of the kitchen (pic 6-10) (since there are arches/ arcades) we would like to built-in bookshelves).
also, what is bothering us is what to do between the main entrance and the middle of the living room where all the couches will be. we will need a small table next to the door or in the middle or maybe a small corner salon or a bar ...
keeping in mind that this is the room we will spend most of our days in, the style should be easy, comfy, homy, with pastel and wood colors and the feel should be authentic yet with a touch of modernity.
please also advise on the main entrance door.
-the 2nd part: the dining room and salon
pictures 11-13 are the saloon and the dining room.
the styles of the 2 living areas (saloon and living room) should be different. ( so kind of classic in the salon room (wood furniture and designs are always welcome, ( think of someone who likes Lord of the rings, fairies, vampires but of course i don't want a hobbit in my living room :p)
- the closets which you can see from pic number 12 are going to be removed we would like to do something with the space there since its already built in ( maybe glass for storage of some crytalleries, a big dressoir with mirrors and wood.)
-the last pic with the arch is where we were thinking of having a bar. (behind it is the kitchen so it will be half closed)
- one of the dont's: no gold colored furniture
Our style is rock n roll but still with a touch of authenticity...
no demolition is allowed, all the walls that are in the plans should stay.
we would like to include False ceiling in the salon
also please note that entire floor is covered with marble, so please take its color into consideration when choosing the colors.( you can find a picture of the marble in the first picture in the references section)
