ABBA 1 has been an exciting project to be a part of. Thank you very much for the opportunity to participate in this wonderful competition.
In line with the project's main scope, the floor plan has been slightly modified. The proposal involves relocating the powder room/laundry door to the Master Bedroom anteroom, replacing the direct access from the living area. The main entrance has been enhanced with a floor-to-ceiling wardrobe and a coat hanger featuring a seating bench. On the opposite side, the wall with the Master Suite anteroom door has been clad in vertical timber strips, concealing the door in a modern boiserie style and contrasting it with integrated lighting.
Additionally, the living, dining, and kitchen areas have been designed with a primary focus on storage units, complemented by a neutral color palette and contrasting timber textures. Lighting fixtures have been carefully selected to play a key role in the design while ensuring they do not obstruct the space. All fixtures are flush-mounted to the false ceiling, with the exception of two pendant lamps over the kitchen island. These pendants serve as a focal point and seamlessly blend with the overall design.
The outdoor terrace features bioclimatic pergolas and includes a barbecue area and an outdoor kitchen with a dining table, creating a relaxed dining experience. The material palette has been thoughtfully chosen to complement the tranquil ambiance, incorporating greenery and brick-clad cabinetry to emphasize the historic charm of the surrounding environment.
