Dear client,
The summer villa was designed due to your request of function. Since we couldn’t redesign or open new windows, the best way to enhance the lighting, was to make the room doors partly glass. The glass lets the light from the rooms come into the living room. To make the room brighter, the design was oriented to light color palette and shiny materials. Also, we included different sources of light in each room.
The kitchen is captured behind the arch with all its functions, including the fridge. Since the kitchen is small, we opt for a light color scheme which matches the walls. The dinning table moved near the kitchen for better access and is divided with the living room with a glass wall. It helps the room get lighter and also divide the dining from living.
The outside covered area became a very cozy and warm place to hang out. It has plenty of light since it all is constructed in glass. In summer warm days, the ceiling is covered with greenery for shades, and also you can cover with curtains if you need.
