Dear client,

the project was initially approached by developing a thorough understanding of the client's needs and aspirations in regards to the residence.

The residence has been then divided into private and semi-private areas, by separating the night and day functions and activities. The bedrooms has been clustered together on the left side and a new bathroom has been created, intended for these particular spaces. The load-bearing wall within the residence has been extended further towards the entrance a new door is added. This is a major change for the residence and it is done in order to completely separate the functions and keep them organised within a clustered zone and accessible hallway.

On the right side, the bathroom has been kept as is and this will mostly be used as a guest/formal bathroom. The rest of the area has been stripped of any walls and partitions, therefore creating an open-plan kitchen and living area of substantial size. This space becomes the main focus point of the residence and allows it flow naturally out on to the terrace, creating the illusion of a unified interior-exterior.

It has been a pleasure working on this project and I hope that my work meets and exceeds your expectations!
