Apartment In The "eternal City"
I am asking your professional advice to design my new apartment. The style I prefer is definitely the modern one.
The apt is located at the first floor of a building of the early ‘900 in the neighborough of Monteverde in Rome, Italy. There are further apartments both upstairs and downstairs.
The apt shall be entirely refurbished both as to the brickworks and as to the main utility systems (e.g. idraulic, heating and energy systems).
The ceiling is around 3mt height and therefore I think that there is enough space for you to design some sort of false ceilings where to also arrange the lighting system.
As to the exteriors, the apt is provided with a big terrace and a small balcony on one side, and with a second terrace on the other side. My initial idea was to have the living room area on the side of the apt that faces the big terrace, and the night area including the bedrooms on the opposite side.
My requests/wishes are the following:
– 1 bedroom with inside bathroom and wardrobe room, with access to the second terrace,
– 1 guestroom/office
– 1 bathroom with shower (also for guests’ perusal)
– 1 additional small bathroom for washing machine, laundry etc. (optional)
– wide living zone
– entrance with cabinet hangers
Please note that the three small rooms on the right side of the apt planimetry marked as “4”, “C.T.” and “6” are not part of the apt.
Thank you to all of you that will partecipate.
