Description

The project intends to reorganize the interior spaces, to obtain a good level of liveability and functionality, containing demolition-reconstruction operations as much as possible. First of all, it is planned to "protect" the wall bordering the other living unit through sheets or sound-absorbing panels (Flat Barrier or Isolmix panel), limiting as much as possible the noises coming from the neighbors.
The two bedrooms exchange their position; the one for children also occupies the space of the current toilet, to have a practical indoor playground re-adaptable in the future as a study area.
The master bedroom becomes large enough to accommodate double bed and bedside tables; the master bathroom expands a bit, to contain also the washing machine and a large shower, while the small bathroom is flanked by a small closet space.
Inside the current living room there is room for a wardrobe and the home office; this one can be closed by a folding door. The space closest to the large window is dedicated to the relax-living area, while the dining area is created by remodeling the kitchen, which opens up more towards the living area and can be separated from it by a folding glass wall.
Note: in variant 2, we chose to make a small storage room next to the entrance: the kitchen will be slightly smaller and equipped with a dining island instead of the traditional table. The children's room and second bathroom are also positioned differently.
The colors are neutral and clear, in line with the demand for a Scandinavian style, with small touches of your favorite colors to give freshness and brightness.
