Description

This renovation aims to review the space design of the existing house providing it with a new generous open plan living space. The connection with the exterior has been e enhanced through large South facing glazing and a continuous timber floor from the interior to the exterior space. Overheating risk can be managed through external shading timber system, which allow occupants with a a more flexible and manageable control of daylight. The entrance is characterized by a multi functional wardrobe for storage space on the lobby side and library facing the living space. The main materials used are timber for flooring finishes, exposed concrete for living-dining spaces, dark grey vinyl render for the library and some kitchen elements. The bedroom features exposed white bricks walls and a custom designed grey painted timber bed frame.
