Description

The goal of the project is to combine the traditional taste of a 50’s house with a modern style and way of living, and to give the perception of a unitary open space without making significant demolitions.

The kitchen is renewed with traditional looking tiles and contemporary furnishings . Two large wooden sliding doors lead to a simple, comfortable dining room, and consent to close the kitchen area. A fireplace has been set up in the living area, with a sofa and harmchairs around.

The client’s request to mantain the floating wooden floor, involved the need not to demolish the wall dividing the dining area from the living area. Our proposal is to carve openings in the wall, hosting a library and a tv board, in order to give a sense of unitary space without tearing walls down. Enjoy!
