Description

The project starts from the idea that the space of the bar will be adaptable for different configurations of space during the day/night. The basic concept is that a bar has different spaces’s needs in the three essential moment of the day: breakfast, lunch, and happy hour/ cocktail bar for the evening. From the point of view of composition, the rectangular shapes is broken by a corrugated element (the counter), that divided the bar’s area from the services spaces. The wall behind the bar has a particular process (cardboard elements with backlit panels), that emphatizes the movement and adds value to the service area. The bar ‘s counter is the central element that defines the space and on it you can perform all the necessary activities: from eat to service happy hour ( the idea is that the counter can be used in a different way during the day-tav2). The bar is a surface of about 50 mq (30 mq is fo the bath and the service necessary for laws). It is divided in 2 part: the “fast area”, more free, ( the part of the counter with the stools), and the “relax zone” ( the part with sofas, poufs and big cozy pillows) with small wood tables and a soft light created with a series of design lamps. The relax zone is more informal that the bar zone; it is articolated in different micro-spaces with a series of wall partitions realized with cardboard tubes ( a recycled materials, ecological and inovative); in this spaces there are green adaptable sofas for a more relaxed break. This zone is also definited with a ceiling with modular texile elements (Barrisol system), which emphasizes the idea of movement in this part and create a particolar light.Like the request, the materials follow the idea of ecology, natural and recycled, with wood and warm colors: bamboo for the flor and the counter, cardboard for inner partition, wood for table and walls.
