Description

The functional design of this space came from two pivotal points, the dining area and relaxation room.
Regarding the dining area the most natural and functional position seemed to be the one closest to the entrance door being closer to the kitchen.

While regarding to the relaxation area, the focal point was "stove + TV."
The solution was to create a plasterboard wall behind the stove to cover the tube and, at the same time, to not occupy too much space and over the same another plasterboard wall for housing the TV rack with directional arm. The gray colour is used to provide continuity with the ceiling tones chosen by owners.

The mood that I wanted to give the room, following the directions of the client, has been to a “contemporary” style and through the use of warm materials such as wood, character as iron and wrapping colours textures, they would confer the right elegance. While the site, Salerno, suggested me the inclusion of photos that were referring to the architecture of the place and the wallpaper, with its hints of blue, to the sea of city.
